One Week In — A Promising First Test

After only one week of working together, NC United FC's new Men's Division 1 squad faced its first significant preseason test on August 8 — a friendly against strong opposition in NC Ballers.

NC Ballers earned the 3–1 result, but the score told only part of the story.

The coaching staff came away encouraged by the team's organization, willingness to play, and ability to maintain meaningful stretches of possession — despite having only a handful of sessions together.

More important than the preseason score was the foundation beginning to appear.

We thank NC Ballers for the competition, and we recognize our players for representing NC United with effort and commitment.

As always, the day began and ended the same way: together, in prayer. God first. The work continues.

Developing Players. Building Character. Honoring God.
